IPL Treatments

Here at Nina K, we offer MedCos IPLâ„¢, the only medical-grade IPL made in the Netherlands for safe and effective hair removal and skin rejuvenation treatments.
IPL works in a similar way to laser therapy. The difference is that where laser therapy delivers a single wavelength of light energy, IPL delivers multiple wavelengths. This means that IPL can treat a larger area of skin in a shorter time than laser therapy.

Acne

We offer a range of successful acne treatments to leave your skin clear and blemish free. Acne can be effectively treated with Intense Pulsed Light alone or in combination with other clinical treatments. Intense Pulsed Light treatments greatly reduce the number and severity of active lesions, lessening the inflammation and frequency of breakouts.

Couperose/Rocasea

The best treatment for couperosis skin and rosacea been found to be intense pulsed light. IPL is a fast and effective way of treating redness and visible blood vessels on the face caused by rosacea. A series of treatments usually results in marked improvement of redness and blood vessels on the face. IPL specifically targets skin structures of a specific color by emitting light of selected wavelengths. The light absorbed by the target is converted into heat which destroys the target structure but not the surrounding tissues.

Skin Rejuvenation and Tightening

As we get older, our skin naturally loses elasticity and as skin becomes laxer, it becomes much easier for lines and wrinkles to form. These are some of the most typical signs of aging.

IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is a popular form of skin rejuvenation therapy that can help tackle the majority of skin-related concerns, including tightening lax skin and reducing the appearance of wrinkles.
